History
I came from a Typical coffee growers family. Unfortunately my parents passed away when I was quite young, so I took charge of the farm when I was 16 years old, so I got married soon. Now I live in the farm with my wife Claudia and my children Nixon, Jennifer and Oscar Jr. I am a member of the Associative Group COOMAGRO, all the farms that belong to the group are Rainforest Alliance Certified.
Environmental Care
As Rainforest Alliance Certified I have a special control of the natural resources, water sources, native forest, wildlife, etc. I dont throw directly the residual water in the brooks, firstable I do have to process this residual water in septic and filtered tanks.
Coffee Processing Information
The depulping process is done using a minimum amount of water. I also have a tank for the fermentation. The fertilizing process is done using the pulp and also chemical products. The drying process is done in the parabolic drying system.
