Overview
I have owned the farm for the last 21 years when I bought it. Since I am an agricultural engineer and zoo technician, I decided to grow coffee for Im a fan of the industry and agriculture. In country like Nicaragua that is not Industrial, I think I made the best choice. My grandparents were farmers, coffee growers, as well as my father, uncles and cousins. I had been preselected for COE in the last 2 years (in the group of the CISA). I had made it to the 150 finalist but thanks to the interchange of experiences and work with classification of product, step by step, I improved so much with the better water for washing, wet milling, harvesting and picking of the coffee. I feel very happy because my mission was to produce coffee with a high yield per acre. My vision and purpose was to increase quality standards and having achieved it, I expect to stay in this select group and change my life standards.
